How Green Plus Works
One of the most frequently asked questions
regarding Green Plus is, "How does it work?" In an effort to give a
simple answer to this question, we asked our research and development
team to create a scientific model to show how it works. The model is
shown below. For answers to some of our other most frequently asked
questions, please visit our FAQ page.

Methane is a simple hydrocarbon
made up of four hydrogen atoms and one carbon atom
Oxygen can reach every part of a
simple hydrocarbon like methane
For this reason, methane burns
almost completely and leaves little to no pollution
Gasoline and diesel hydrocarbons
tend to curl up and look like this
Unfortunately, these hydrocarbons
tend to get bundled up with one another creating clusters
When hydrocarbons bundle like
this, oxygen cannot reach all of the fuel
Because of this, the hydrocarbons
in gasoline, diesel, bunker fuel etc., do not burn completely
What is left over is released as
exhaust. Partially burnt molecules like these contribute to
pollution |
Green Plus catalyzes these
molecules causing the hydrocarbons to unbundle
At the same time, it exposes them
to oxygen molecules thus facilitating the reaction
By doing these two things, Green
Plus causes these chains to burn far more completely
Green Plus causes fuels fuels to
burn more completely thus reducing emissions and increasing
efficiency |
